What documents do I need to register a trademark or work?
Registration of trademarks, commercial notices and commercial names.
Brand design or logo , just in case you want it to be registered as well.
Products or services for which the brand will be used.
Full name of the person or persons who will be the holders or “owners” of the
Mark. In this case, if the owner will be a company, it is necessary that they provide us with the company name.
Owner's address.
The date on which the trademark in question was used for the first time, provided that it can be reliably proven in the future (in contentious proceedings), such as, for example, a document of a certain date, a tax receipt showing the brand and the name of the owner, or even newspaper or magazine publications. Im portant: Only in the case noted the above data, the address of the establishment where the mark is used is required.
Registration of works.
1. RFC of the natural person who is the author of the work, or the author of the original compilation.
2. Full name of the author(s) of the original work or compilation.
3. Sex of the author(s).
4. Date of birth of the author(s).
5. Place of birth of the author(s).
6. Nationality of the author(s).
7. Full address of the author(s)- street, number, neighborhood, delegation or municipality, federal entity and postal code-
8. Name of the work.
9. In the case of compilations, name of the compiled works.
10. A power of attorney in the name of the attorney must be attached. We will prepare the power of attorney once you send us the data of the person who will be the owner of the rights.
11.A version of the work or of the compilation, which can be in the versions that we mentioned in our call (interactive and in PDF).
12. Only in the event that you want the ownership of the economic rights to be in the name of a legal entity (optional): To prove ownership of the economic rights of the legal entity, any of the following documents must be attached* :
-Contract work to order.
-Contract/Letter of assignment of rights.
-Individual work contract of the author (the original will be returned to you after entering the procedure).
